Crouch backs Lewandowski for Liverpool move
Former Liverpool forward Peter Crouch has encouraged Liverpool to consider a move for Robert Lewandowski if the striker’s contract situation at Barcelona remains unresolved.
Crouch believes the experienced Polish forward still has the quality to perform at the highest level and could offer valuable depth and leadership in Liverpool’s attack.
Liverpool facing attacking concerns
Liverpool are currently dealing with uncertainty in the forward line. Injuries and fitness concerns around key attacking players have increased discussions about bringing in a proven goalscorer with experience.
Crouch feels Lewandowski’s profile perfectly suits a short-term but high-quality role, especially considering his consistency in front of goal over the years.
“World-class players are always valuable”
Speaking about the possibility, Crouch praised Lewandowski’s mentality and finishing ability, insisting elite strikers do not suddenly lose their instinct inside the box.
The former England international also highlighted that a potential free transfer would make the deal even more attractive financially for Liverpool.
Lewandowski still delivering at the top level
Despite entering the later stages of his career, Robert Lewandowski continues to be one of Barcelona’s most reliable attacking players.
The striker remains an important figure under Hansi Flick, but speculation around his long-term future continues to generate attention ahead of the summer window.
